Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Program
Becoming a CNA is a rewarding and exciting career path. PTC Training Academy offers a uniquely flexible and affordable state-approved program to guide our students toward a Connecticut CNA certification.
Hybrid CNA training makes it possible to become a CNA while working full-time or parenting. We offer a combination of online classes and hands-on training at our accredited lab in Danbury, CT. At the end of the program, you’ll be prepared to take the Connecticut Prometric Nurse Aide Exam and begin working as a licensed CNA.
Delivery Options
Our Connecticut CNA program offers two delivery options:
1. In-person classes: Attend all theory and lab classes in-person at our Danbury campus.
2. Hybrid online program: Complete theory classes online at your own pace and attend scheduled in-person labs and clinical rotations on campus.
Program Overview
PTC Academy’s CNA Program prepares students for the Connecticut Prometric Nurse Aide Exam. Students gain the knowledge and hands-on skills they need to become Certified Nursing Assistants through a combination of online and in-person learning.
Phlebotomy Technician Program
Become a certified phlebotomy technician in Connecticut with our in-person or hybrid training program. Beyond just a blood draw training course, our hybrid phlebotomy program provides a combination of practical, hands-on skills and theoretical learning.
This training program is about more than just passing your certification exam — it will prepare you to work as an experienced phlebotomy technician anywhere in Connecticut.
Delivery Options
PTC Academy allows you to become a certified phlebotomy technician in one of two ways:

2. Hybrid online program: Online coursework with in-person lab sessions for hands-on training.

EKG Technician Program
As an EKG technician, you’ll have the valuable career skills and certification to work in health care institutions throughout Connecticut. PTC Training Academy offers a flexible path toward certification. Through online or hybrid training, you can earn your Connecticut EKG certification without putting your life on hold.
Delivery Options
1. In-person classes: Complete all training and learning on our Danbury campus.
2. Hybrid online program: Take online theory modules combined with on-campus EKG labs.
Program Overview

Patient Care Technician (PCT) Program
Patient care technicians have a combination of CNA, EKG, and Phlebotomy training. These multiskilled technicians work in a range of hospitals and healthcare institutions across Connecticut.
